How much is X’Aim? Can I use it free?

There are 4 X’Aim plans ranging from a completely FREE plan to plans from AU$6/month – AU$25/month inclusive of GST. Paying plans have more features like herd tracking, stats, graphs, genetic improvement tools and the ability to keep track of more animals. Register now for a completely FREE plan and upgrade after you’ve used it for a little while (or stay on the FREE plan if that suits you!). No credit card is required to sign up for a FREE plan. You can upgrade at any time, or downgrade!

Can X’Aim be used with any livestock or is it only for beef and sheep breeders?

X’Aim can be used for any species. We don’t limit what species you can put in X’Aim. In fact, you can have more than one species per X’Aim login account, or multiple herds/flocks in a single species. Note that the FREE account is limited to a single species and single flock/herd.

What if I no longer need my X’Aim? Can I stop my subscription and take my data with me?

Subscription is charged on a monthly basis; if you cancel or downgrade to FREE at anytime you won't be charged any more. And yes, your data is your data, and we provide a download of your animal data in a csv format. You can download animal reports at any time.

I only have 10 sheep to keep my grass down, do I need to worry about inbreeding?

If you are breeding your sheep (or other animals) to have young, and sometimes you keep the young stock and later breed them, then you could find yourself with an inbreeding problem. Inbreeding does have consequences you should avoid if you can. Why risk it when with only 10 sheep, you can use the FREE X’Aim plan to breed your sheep worry-free.

Do I have to download any software?

No, X’Aim software runs on our server using a database to store your animal records and artificial intelligence to create optimal mating lists that minimise inbreeding and coancestry. This has never before been offered on-line, direct to users! By providing X’Aim on-line, we can continually improve X’Aim for you, requiring no upgrading, no software downloading, and no hassles with software installation. You are always running the latest version. You can download ALL your data to your own PC at any time.

How hard is it to use?

X’Aim is designed to be very easy to use. Every page contains useful hints to help you get started quickly. We even provide an Example herd of animals and show you how to get the best of X’Aim through a series of on-line tutorials that we will bring to you from time to time.
